Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the booking of any tour, package, transfer or Nile cruise sold by EGT Luxury Travel ("we", "us"). By confirming a booking you ("the Customer") accept these Terms in full.
1. Booking & confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once we issue a written confirmation and, where applicable, the required deposit has been received. The lead traveller must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for all members of the booking.
2. Pricing
All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) per person unless stated otherwise and include the services explicitly listed in the itinerary. Prices may change before confirmation due to currency fluctuation, fuel surcharges, government taxes or supplier changes.
3. Customer responsibilities
The Customer is responsible for:
- Holding a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity beyond the travel date.
- Obtaining the correct visa for Egypt (most nationalities can apply for an e-Visa or visa on arrival — verify with your embassy).
- Arranging adequate travel & medical insurance covering the full duration of the trip.
- Arriving on time at the agreed pick-up point and providing accurate flight, hotel and contact information.
- Following the guide's instructions and respecting local laws, customs and religious sites.
4. Our responsibilities
We commit to:
- Delivering services as described in the confirmation voucher.
- Using only licensed Egyptian guides, vehicles and reputable accommodation partners.
- Maintaining 24/7 multilingual support during your trip.
- Offering reasonable alternatives if a service cannot be delivered as planned.
5. Changes by us
Itineraries may be adjusted for operational, weather, safety or security reasons. We will inform you as early as possible and offer equivalent alternatives. Minor changes do not give rise to compensation.
6. Changes by the Customer
Changes (date, hotel, guests) requested after confirmation are subject to availability and may incur supplier fees. We do our best to accommodate every reasonable request.
7. Force majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions or airline disruptions. In such cases we will offer a credit, rescheduling or partial refund where supplier conditions allow.
8. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, repatriation, trip cancellation, lost luggage and adventure activities. We are not responsible for losses that could have been covered by insurance.
9. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the services we sold to you. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, nor for acts or omissions of third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels, cruise operators) beyond our reasonable control.
10. Complaints
Any complaint must first be reported on the spot to our representative or guide so we can attempt to resolve it immediately. Written complaints must be sent within 28 days of return.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Hurghada, Red Sea Governorate.
