GDPR — Your Data Rights
EGT Luxury Travel processes personal data of EU and EEA residents in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). This page summarises the rights you can exercise at any time, free of charge.
Right of access
You can ask us to confirm whether we process your personal data and to receive a copy of it, together with information on purposes, recipients and retention periods.
Right to rectification
You can ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data at any time — for example a misspelt name on a voucher or an updated flight number.
Right to erasure
You can ask us to delete your personal data when it is no longer needed for the purpose collected, or when you withdraw consent. Where Egyptian law obliges us to keep records (e.g. invoices), we will explain why erasure is not possible in those specific cases.
Right to restriction
You can ask us to limit the processing of your data while we verify a request or assess a legal claim.
Right to data portability
You can request your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and have it transferred to another controller where technically feasible.
Right to object
You can object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest or to direct marketing. We will stop immediately unless we have compelling lawful grounds to continue.
Right to withdraw consent
Where processing is based on consent (e.g. newsletter, marketing cookies), you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of past processing.
Right to lodge a complaint
You can lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
