Carry your passport for any trip leaving the South Sinai bubble (Ras Mohammed, St Catherine, Coloured Canyon).
Reef-safe sunscreen is mandatory and enforced — please pack accordingly.
Mount Sinai is a night hike and a real summit — bring layers, a head-torch and sturdy shoes.
Tipping is part of the Bedouin economy — small notes for drivers, captains and camp staff are appreciated.

Good to know

Reef briefings and life-vests are provided on every snorkel boat — non-swimmers welcome.
St Catherine and Mount Sinai trips can sometimes be combined with the Coloured Canyon.
